Welcome to the application site for the course "Rehabilitation in Hand Surgery, 15 ECTS"! 

The course is offered by the Faculty of Medicine, Hand Surgery Research Group, Lund University and Skåne University Hospital, Malmö, Sweden. Participants meet for an entire week on 4 occasions during the course of the year, a total of 20 days. Teaching is in the form of lectures, literature reviews, self-studies and literature seminars and requires active participation and knowledge-searching as well as critical appraisal.  

Language of Instruction: English.  

Admission Requirements: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Medical Science credits equivalent to 90 credits. Specific entry qualifications are applied for documented clinical experience at a hand surgery unit.

Dates for Classroom Training 2025-2026: 1-5 September 2025, 24-28 November 2025, 9-13 March 2026 and 25-29 May 2026.  

Venue: Skåne University Hospital (SUS), Malmö, Sweden.

Cost: 33 800 SEK excluding VAT, travel and accommodations.  

Terms and Conditions: A minimum of 30 participants is required in order for the course to start. Registration is binding. At cancellation 4 weeks prior to course start, 6 000 SEK will be charged. At cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to course start, the full course fee will be charged. The exchange of participants prior to the course start can be made at any time at no extra cost.

Deadline for Application: 30 May 2025. After deadline we only accept applications for the reserv list.   

Approval to Participate: In order to attend this course you must have the approval of your manager. In the registration form you will find a field to enter your manager's email address. In this way your manager will receive an email requesting approval.
