A retreat for women to create, sing and paint together

The Hilma Project grew from a longing to be with women and create a space of creativity, softness, kindness and awe for the beauty of nature and the world. In The Hilma Project we come together to sing, create, paint and just be. In this retreat, painting becomes a beautiful way of tuning in with something bigger than ourselves.

During four days, we will sing kirtan, connect with nature and paint inspired by the great work of Hilma Af Klint - on large sheets of paper and textile - with both acrylics and traditional egg oil tempera paints which we will mix ourselves as part of the journey.

The reception is open for check-in on Thursday 28th of September from 16:00-18.00. The course ends on Sunday, 1st of October at 15:00.

General info
-At Mundekulla Retreatcenter we serve organic and vegetarian food and offer dairy- and gluten-free options for those who wish. Note any allergies in connection with your booking. However, we cannot serve food that suits all different diets.
-Bring your own sheets and towels or you can rent them at Mundekulla for SEK 150/set at the reception upon check-in.
-Participants clean their rooms after the course. Cleaning can be purchased for SEK 300 per room.
-It is not allowed to use candles in the rooms.

How to find Mundekulla
The most common way to get to Mundekulla is by train to Emmaboda, which arrives from all over the country at least every two hours. After that, you can book a taxi for about SEK 350/car (10 km), booked via Bens Taxi (0480-66555), preferably a week before departure. Flights arrive to Kalmar, Ronneby and Växjö with several departures/day. From Kastrup/Copenhagen there is a direct train (3 hours) to Emmaboda. You can also fill in our carpooling form (received after your booking)
